Registrations for the Master-2 “Plasma Physics & Fusion” must be made via one of the registration management portals of one of our institutions: Sorbonne Université, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, Université Paris-Saclay. This is essential to ensure the completeness and admissibility of applications.

For Sorbonne Université, the portal is open between March 27, 2025 and June 12, 2025.

For Université Paris-Saclay, the portal is open between March 1, 2025 and July 15, 2025.

For Institut Polytechnique de Paris, the portal is open between Octobre 24, 2024 and May 29, 2025. 

Please note the closing dates of these portals, because once they close, it will no longer be possible to apply.

It is pointless, and even counter-productive, to apply to more than one establishment: there is a single jury that will evaluate the applications, made up of representatives from the 3 institutions (SU, IPP, UPSay).

If you would like to apply for a fellopwship during your Master-2 program, please contact one of the Master-2 coordinators (see addresses below) to specify your request and identify the institution to which you should apply.

If you were not previously enrolled at one of our three partner institutions, you should first contact one of the Master-2 coordinators (see addresses below) to find out which institution you should apply to.

Whichever management portal you choose to apply to, your application must include :

• Letter of motivation
• Transcripts from the last 3 years 
• Detailed curriculum vitae
• Photo ID

Applications are evaluated on an ongoing basis, and you will receive an opinion from the jury 8 days after your application has been fully submitted.

Application platforms are not yet open for the year 2025-2026. The opening and closing dates for each of these platforms will be indicated as soon as they are known.
